Our Inaugural charity golf tournament- Raising over 1 million Kenya shillings was a huge milestone for the Rotary Club of Gachie.
The 9th of July witnessed the coming together of family & friends of the the Rotary Club of Gachie
as we installed our new President, Gary Ananda
and his Board of Directors for the Rotary Year 2022/23.
Rotary Club of Gachie has partnered with 22 Rotary Clubs in Washington State USA led by Rotary Club Lacey and 5 clubs in Europe and Australia to apply for a Wash Project grant in Kisii, Nyamira, Bomet and Kericho counties.
On a cold Saturday morning, members & friends of RC Gachie visited
Mangu in Gatundu North to deliver foodstuffs, blankets and adult diapers
to 57 elderly and vulnerable people living in this area.
Our Rotary Club meets for our weekly fellowships every Monday from 6.30pm. In addition to that we make time for fun, exciting activities and events that not only add value to the members of our community but also keep us learning & engaged. Take a look.

The club was chartered on 16th May 2018 with 32 members and the club has managed to maintain this number. The Rotary Club of Gachie is in Nairobi, Kenya. We are 16kms due west of the Central Business District. The area comprises the neighbourhoods of Gachie, Ruaka, Kihara Banana Hill, Ndumberi and Wangige

It is with great honour and enthusiasm that I step into the role of President of the Rotary Club of Gachie for the upcoming year. As we embark on this journey together, I am filled with optimism and a profound sense of purpose. Our club’s mission has always been to serve our community and beyond, and this year, we aim to amplify our impact even further.
Our theme for the year, “Agents of Change,” reflects our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us. We are not just passive observers but active participants in creating a better world. This year, we have set ambitious goals that align with our core values.

Our efforts this year are guided by the overarching themes of our larger Rotary family. We celebrate “100 Years of Service in Africa,” a testament to Rotary’s enduring commitment to the continent.
As we move forward, I encourage each of you to engage actively with our projects and initiatives. Your participation, whether through time, resources, or expertise, is invaluable. Together, we can achieve our goals and make a significant impact.
