DG’S first project in our cluster (Nairobi East 1) was by RC Nairobi Peponi at Lower Kabete Primary school. DG Leonard Ithau accompanied by representative from the District & clubs from the Nairobi East cluster 1 (Nairobi Gigiri, Karura, Gachie and Nairobi Peponi) on June 10th 2023 went to witness the good work done by the Rotarians from Nairobi Peponi.
The library was well stocked with books and furniture needed by the learners as depicted in the pictures below. The leaders present also shared their wisdom with the learners and faculty as a way of cementing our commitment to the Rotary area of focus for supporting education. In addition to fulfilling our role in protecting the environment, we left our mark with a tree planting exercise.
