It’s with immense pride and joy that we share the outstanding achievements of two incredible individuals from our community, Grace Githere and Doreen Murugi, who were recently honored at the prestigious Foundation Dinner of District 9212.
Grace Githere’s commitment and dedication have elevated her to a Major Donor Level 2 and a Paul Harris Fellow distinguished status. Her unwavering support and tireless efforts epitomize the true essence of Rotary’s values of service and generosity.
Joining her in this remarkable recognition is Doreen Murugi, who embarked on her Rotary journey by attaining the esteemed status of a Paul Harris Fellow. Her initiation into this esteemed circle signals the beginning of a journey filled with compassion and impactful contributions.
The Foundation Dinner, an event hosted by our esteemed District Governor and graced by their spouse, the First Lady, was a gathering of passionate Rotarians united by a common purpose—to acknowledge and honor those who have gone above and beyond in their support of the Rotary Foundation.
The evening celebrated excellence, with our District Governor acknowledging and commending clubs and individuals whose extraordinary efforts have propelled Rotary’s mission forward. The categories ranged from recognizing the Club with the most Paul Harris Fellows to those demonstrating exceptional contributions per Rotarian per year. Additionally, innovative projects like ‘Jenga’ that significantly contributed to the Foundation’s cause received well-deserved accolades, with the dedicated teams behind them honored for their impactful work.
In this vibrant assembly, our community’s contributions did not go unnoticed. We earned mentions for two exceptional contributions made by our members. This acknowledgment is a testament to our collective dedication to Rotary’s noble values and our commitment to making a meaningful impact.
